| Maintenance, near section 8, wasp infestation, ant infestation, gates never work, pools are forever filthy, management is a bunch of hood rats looking like they were brought in from off the corner, Shelly the manager does not manage very well and can't keep her property in fair condition as well as staff.
1. Wasp Infestation - ALL OVER THE PLACE they live behind the siding obviously no nests are visible because they can squeeze through any small gap in the corners. A gap was caulked with bathtub caulking instead of expandable outdoor insulation to seal cracks, etc.
2. Maintenance, Slow responding to problem, declares there is never a problem with your complaint. Leaves a maintenance ticket reading, "No problem found" but when they do come to fix something they are quick to report if you have an animal living there or sight any other thing that is none of their business. They are nasty perverts too.
3. Section 8 - There is a HUGE section 8 apartment complex acress the street and the youth (later refered to as they/them)there come looking for everything at the Overlook. They'll break into your car and rob you! They play in our pools, they play on our basketball court without regard to anyone else ever wanting to use it. You feel like you're in the ghetto when they're around. This isn't Harlem. They jump at our car trying to get you to hit them. Grafitti problems because of them. Shootings and other drama in that apartment complex and police always responding to numerous calls.
4. Management - agreed to the "discounted"/"preferred resident" rate and upon signing the lease charged full price a difference of nearly 100 dollars but it was too late to pull out of that deal. Cheap carpet, old appliances, faulty air conditioner, which you better hope doesn't break. It can take up to 2 weeks for them to finally fix the problem or even acknowledge there is a problem. Rotting wood on the porches, etc.... |
