I didn't even get a chance to move into Paseo Pointe! That should tell you something. First of all, I got along fine with the guy in the office, I don't remember his name. However, he showed me the apartment and everything was good. I left a check for the app. fee and deposit. I was told that the app. fee would be cashed, but the deposit check does not get cashed until they tell you, "you're approved!" I lived at many apartment complexes and I am very familiar with the drill. So, I did not anticipate the deposit money to go through right away, just the app. fee. So, anyway, they never contacted me to tell me that I had been approved. I called about 10 times to find out and would never get a straight answer. Two weeks past, and still nothing...I have never waited two weeks to get an answer to move in. Then, I check my account and my deposit check has gone through. However, still no word on whether or not I was approved. At this point, I was speaking with Courtney, who is not trustworthy at all and was always rude when speaking with her. Not a very pleasant person to talk to on the phone; she was always snippy and snobby! By this time, it had already been a month and still no word that I had been approved. So, here I go and call again. I was so fed up because I had a deadline to be out of another apartment. Then, I told Courtney that I did not want to move into Paseo Pointe any more. I told Courtney that I wanted my deposit fee refunded to me because I was never even told that I was approved! She said that was fine and that they would refund my deposit fee but not my app. fee. I was fine with that. So, she told me to wait 2 weeks before I got my refund. Well, what do you think happened?? Hmmm...2 weeks past by and nothing! So, here I am calling Courtney again. Well, she said that they were not going to refund my money after all. I was so livid and asked to speak to the manager. So, this lady gets on the phone and I explain to her what was going on. She seemed nice, but didn't have any sympathy. During our conversation, she asked Courtney if she had told me that I was going to get a refund on my deposit fee and that b*$%h lied to her and said she never told me that. So, the stupid manager believes her and I never got my money back. What was I going to do? Get a lawyer for a freakin' deposit fee. After all that time I wasted on them already. I'm sorry, but isn't the customer always right???? I would never recommend anyone to live here. Who wants to live in a community where the office staff are lazy (obviously, never worked on my app.), deceptive, liars (can't trust Courtney)!!!! I have never had this problem anywhere else, which is why I reported them to the Better Business Bureau! |
