| Do not move here!! It has been 3 months after I moved out and no word on where my deposit is. My husband and I have called them since 2 weeks after moving out, about once a week. Each time an "employee" says they will have their "manager" call back. Of all the times that we have called, not one manager has called us. No one has called us. It has actually come to the point where I am going to call their management company and complain, which I never end up coming to.
As for the apartment, college kids are having parties every weekend. I'm a college student and it even irritated me, I could imagine how much it much irritate a family. There is hardly anywhere to park because of these noisy get togethers. People are out on their patios drunk, screaming, and smoking. I couldn't even walk my dog in the evening on weekends without having to deal with drunken morons.
The apartment itself was nice, no complaints there. It was new and beautiful, but we moved into a unit that had never been lived in before. I can't say how well they repair previous tenant damage.
Once my smoke detector had a "short wire" and would not stop beeping. I found this out because after they put me at the "end of their list. Sorry, but it's not an emergency" (yes, they really said that to me), they sent someone to replace the battery and it still beeped. The people at the front office told me they wouldn't remove it because of regulations. I'm sorry, but if it's busted anyway, would it really matter??? After arguing I finally got them to remove it. They *never* ended up fixing it or replacing it.
There are so many nicer places to live then this and you'll end up paying less. Promontory Pointe across the way looked really nice and I think it has good reviews. Our friends lived across the street at the Vintage and they loved the management. It was quiet every weekend there. |
