Lived here for 1 1/2 years. Dishwasher and refridgerator were never fixed correctly during this time. Took 2 weeks and multiple requests to get electric on main wall fixed. Prepare to come home to unprofessional, threating letters regarding trash pick up and dog crap: they post these to everyone because the problems with stench from dog crap and trash is constant. Trash pick up is limited to 3 times a week, 6-10am, hours change from time to time. They have threatened to stop trash pick up all together. however, there is only one compactor on property(no dumpsters). It is difficult to get to and always full. I am aware of atleast 7 changes in office staff during my stay, 5 in the last 4 months! They are always nice, but clueless, blaming the previous management for incomplete service calls, etc. GATE IS ALWAYS BROKEN!- Don't think you are in a secure neighborhood, talking to neighbors you will find car and aptarment break-ins, but managament never notified tenants to be on the look out. Locked gym door has been pryed open and never fixed;equipment is dangerously broken! Has gone more downhill is last few months, all my new neighbors fight loudly or party constantly. I discussed this with management and that police had been called at 3 am for domestic violence. They were upset that I had called police rather then let them speak to tenants! Rent increase was over $30 a month on new lease and I was given 11 days notice (although they require 60 day move out notice). I disputed that I was previously told my rent would remain the same, and was advised that person no longer worked there and I should get everything in writing. ( they did eventually honor my previous rent when questioned the legality of 11 days notice of rent increase.) We were in good standing with the complex but left because of these conditions and recieved our deposit back. They give a good first impression, but be aware they haven't gotten their act together yet and it fell apart over a year ago. Take your $700(one bedroom) somewhere else -FAST! (lived there 11/04-4/06) |
