Apartment Review for Altamonte Apartments - San Antonio, TX

I have lived on property for just over a year. I had no reservations when renewing my lease. Lets face it this property is the best deal around. However that isn’t why I renewed my year lease. I am a nurse and I work across town. I have found good deals closer to work, but I feel at home here. I have lived in other complexes, and have never been treated as well as I have been treated here. I am so impressed with management, leasing agents and maintenance. When I am told something is going to get done, it does,and in the time frame in which I have been told. When I moved in there were a few things needing to be fixed; which were addressed promptly. My air conditioning wasn’t working properly a few months ago, it was a weekend. Maintenance came out that day, and got the unit up and going until it could be replaced. It took a couple of days to get the unit in, but was installed in a timely manor. Maintenance stayed late installing the unit, and making sure it was working properly. What prompted me to write this is recently I called in with a list of a few things that needed to be repaired. My dishwasher wasn’t working well, a drawer needed a new track , a cabinet was a little loose. Normal wear and tear stuff. When I called in office was very pleasant in helping me with the repair order. . I work unusual hours, and the ladies in the office are always so understanding when it comes to scheduling. The day the repairs were to be done I was sleeping, and my son asked if maintenance could come back in a while. They were very polite to him, and said no problem. They gave us about 30 min. and came back and asked if it was ok to come in. This happened were I used to live and they never showed back up. If you didn’t let them in when they knocked you had to be rescheduled. Maintenance has always taken time to fix things properly instead of just rigging things to look nice and not last. The property isn’t perfect; however I feel proud living here, and appreciate the work that these people do in providing a nice place for me to live.
