Apartment Review for Colonnade Apartments - San Antonio, TX

I moved into the apartments about a month ago and after reading the reviews here had some reservations. I spoke with Leanda in depth about my concerns and she was up front and honest. Leanda told me that she is a "tell it like it is" person and I respect that.

I did have two issues arise upon moving in and both were addressed quickly and repaired within a day or so.

The trash issue that is listed earlier in the reviews is not because of poor manangement, but because it is apparent that some residents dont understand the concept of putting trash IN the compactor or a dumpster rather than on the ground next to it. There are mulitple dumpsters on the property and a short walk with get you to any of them to dispose of your trash appropriately.

If I did have a complaint it would be the residents not cleaning up after their pets and having dog feces in the grass in front of my apartment. What a lovely smell!

Securtiy Gates that haven't been fixed was another concern but as Leanda explained if people would be more responsible and stop hitting the gates they wouldn't come off the track. I have seen this first hand and can't blame the property management for others foolishness.

Please understand that I am in no way related or know the office staff in any capacity prior to moving here. I wrote this review to try and offset some of the obvious untruths that have been posted. I will continue to monitor the complex and will write reveiews accordingly.
