Apartment Review for Escalante - San Antonio, TX

These apartments are a nightmare...not to mention the staff..including the office and maintence. ANTS galore that do not get taken care of unless you go buy the stuff from Home Depot which is toxic for children. The parking is nuts...heaven forbid you own 2 cars, as most people do or if you have a friend over. Birds nesting in the dryer vents and the smell of dead carcus when you use your dryer....it kills them. No place for children to play so they play in the parking lot with cars zooming in and out. Speed bumps don't seem to help. Garbage, which they are now trying to charge residents a monthly fee for, is piled up at least 5 ft outside the dumpsters. I feel terrible for the apt residents that live next to it. I live in the new building and I have maintence issue still left undone. It took 2 weeks and then some to get the man to get the dead bird taken care of. He tried to convince me there was nothing there. He was wrong. I could go on and on and on but I'm planning on printing all the reviews I can find and giving them to the office....see if it makes any differene at all. Somehow I doubt it.!
