Apartment Review for Hearthstone Apt - San Antonio, TX

I am very unhappy with my new home at Hearthstone, not only were the walls full of bad painting but their was discoloration every where you could spot where they had applied compound. The cabinets are old and full of mold. You can see where the water has run and stained the cabinets. The drawers are broken you can't open and close them without the drawer falling out. The stove is ugly and old chipped. The carpet is horrible from rust stains to colored stains every where. The carpet looks gray and dirty. Despite the exterminator going on a constant basis my apartment is full of ants, some small roaches, and fleas. I dont even have an animal with me. The leaving conditions are unsatisfactory, I have been bathing in cold water for the past week and the repair has not been made. When a repair is requested to the management at Hearthstone they get very arrogant and ensure a work order will be put in. After 2 months passing and the problem not getting fixed their work orders dont show much. My first night there the AC was not working. I had informed the maintenance of this and my request was put off until the next day. My washer and dryer were put in the next week after ensuring with maintenance that it was installed correctly. My carpet ended up being soaked in water. I am not sure what to call this a bad maintenance man, or a bad apartment complex. I would not renew my lease if they paid me. If you are thinking of moving to these apartments I would think twice. Once they have you locked in a lease you are the least of their problems.
