Apartment Review for Perrin Square - San Antonio, TX

This was my first place I moved into on my own, had no idea what I was doing. They tricked me into a 14 month lease..so I have been in hell for 14 months. I am so glad I'm getting out of here in a month. I will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX TO LIVE IN..unless your on drugs you probably wont care. FIRST OF ALL after signing my lease and moving my things in I noticed marijuana seeds all in the kitchen drawers...That was my first clue this place was hell. My front door has been falling apart for the 14 months ive been here..asked to get it fixed countless times...NOT once has it been fixed. All the installation inside the door fell out the bottom one day. also my back storage door does not shut. there are Roaches, MY a/c breaks every month and they take forever to fix it. The maintenance men are lazy. They have not fixed the security gate. They promised they would fix it by the summer when I moved in here....still broken..so on the weekends everyone is having parties and its impossible to park anywhere...The pool water is always green. The gym...OMG..every piece of gym equipment is BROKEN and been that was for 14 months!!!!! and im Just getting started....here is where it gets really good. The management the LYND co. is the stupidest management company I have ever seen!!!! I cant even believe that they don't get shut down. They charge you for every little thing!! about 2 months ago I received a letter on my door saying they are going to charge for MANDATORY cable...yes mandatory. HOW STUPID DOES THAT SOUND. half the people they let live here cant even afford there basic bills. how the hell are they going to say you have to pay for cable weather you like it or not??? illegal much??? CABLE IS A LUXURY NOT A NECESSITY. AND THEY are trying to charge you for something you dont need. All they want is to take your money from you anyway you can. IF YOUR STUPID ASSES WANT US TO HAVE CABLE SO BAD YOU PULL THE MONEY OUR OF YOUR ASS AND PAY FOR IT YOURSELF. I threatened to have a lawyer contact them and they hung up on me!! how rude is that??? i called them back asking them why they thaught it was okay to hang up on me?? the stupid bitch that was working that day..umm her name is Evonne hung up on me again. I was furious. After a long argument and telling them I was NOT paying for that. They got scared and completely changed there story saying I didn't have to pay for cable at all. All they do here is try and manipulate you and take your money. They try and scam people that they think don't know anything about real estate law. overall WORST PLACE TO LIVE EVER.. thank you Perrin Square You have shown me what NOT to look for in my next apartment.
