Apartment Review for Rosemont Apartments - San Antonio, TX

Since the property was sold in mid 08 the property has gone from one of the best apartment complexes I have lived in to the worst. It is all due to the managers incompetance. She does not know how to run a complex or how to treat adults as adults. She acts like the typical bow head from high school who wants everyone to like her. she blows hot air at you when you need something but can never get the job done. I feel sorry for the maintenance staff for having to put up with such a slow minded individual. The complex has/is going thru some make overs. And if your moving into one of the newly renovated apartments get ready to let go of about an extra five to six hundred a month. I would advise anyone looking to move into Rosemont to not just turn around and leave but to run away as fast as you can. The manager and Management company of Rosemont are enough to make a priest want to kill someone. It just goes to show why there are so many empty apartments and why so many of my neighbors (and I) are all about to vacate and leave the property. I have not met the new leasing agent so I can not say anything about her. The manager needs to grow up, try to find some class and try to become a professional. As for the rest of the list. Safety, Several cars have been broken into since I have moved in. Parking is a nightmare late at night and on weekends (too many residents allow their guest to park inside the gate) Appearance, the grounds are nice but that s about all you can say for them. The pool must be a science project for one of the local college students. It gives swimming at your own risk a new meaning. Maintenance, one of the guys is really good, the rest not so much. Condition of unit, fair at best I never invite people over, too afraid of what they would think or say about the place. Not to mention the rats and roaches. Noise Level, over 60% of the residents are in college...need I say more. Late night parties are common most any night of the week. Overall Rating, if Rosemont would find a manager with some class and who would try and work with the resident instead of dictate how she wants it, I could see Rosemont as a nice place. But as long as the current manager is there I do not foresee it as a place anyone would want to live.
