Apartment Review for Sedona Ranch Apartments - San Antonio, TX

We lived in these apartments for 8 months and had a 12 month lease. We bought a house and ended up with almost $2600 in lease charges. I was told by THREE employees the total would be $1500, but suddenly the total jumped by $1000. I did not even complain about this. We are clean people and spent two entire days cleaning, dusting, etc....our apartment was cleaner than when we moved in. The management then tried to charge us $85 to clean the oven. Earlier in our lease our fridge died and instead of getting a new fridge, we were given the fridge from the vacant apartment next door which was full of dog hair. THEN, we had to store our food next door over night (long story) and when we went to move it the next day it was all STOLEN! The management did attempt to remedy the situation, but it was a long process and only was remedied because I kept after them. This was a huge disappointment! The apartments themselves are nice, but the management is incredibly unfriendly. The office staff is sometimes friendly, but all of them will give you different answers and tell you things just to get you out of the office. The only positive is that once you can actually find a maintenance guy they are friendly and get things done, but the office staff does not communicate efficiently with the maintenance staff. Get EVERYTHING in writing! I thought I could put up with rude and untimely management for a nice apartment, but it is not worth it.
