Apartment Review for Silver Rock Apartments - San Antonio, TX

I came into an apartment that had dirty carpet that looked like it was about 10 years old. It was in the same shabby condition it was when I left, In fact, most of the time I had rugs covering up the carpet because I was so embarrassed of it when I had company over. What happens? I get charged $200 for carbet that was horrible to begin with. I also got charged for light bulbs that worked when I left. The place was a dump and the tiles began to come up off the floor about a week after I moved in. I got nickeled and dimed and ended up owing them money when I moved out after I had been there less than a year. Now tell me, how does an apartments condition worsen that much in over a year. I think that the apartment is run poorly and so they can't afford their own upkeep so they end up gouging their former residents and threatening to send them over to a collection agency. I am not one of those people who complains about everything, I have never been gouged this much for moving out of an apartment. These people are unjust/unfair and I wouldn't recommend that anyone move into this apartment, they are way overpriced and the gates that were supposedly keep you safe were always open and criminals loved to live there. Also, the lock on my door was chisled down making it easy for someone to break in. Very unsafe, very poorly managed.
