Apartment Review for Sonoma Canyon - San Antonio, TX

Take a VERY close look at this property before even putting in an application. Not just the obvious trashy grounds, shredded carports, broken & missing windows, primered patios and peeling paint. Talk to some of the residents that have been here for more than six months about the real issues like... Electric billed at 17 cents per unit while CPS customers pay 7 cents. Security gates that haven't worked for over 5 years. How a handicapped woman & her granddaughter after waiting longer than a week to get the disposal had a former maint. man come over to fix it. Children solicited for drugs/sex. Call the SAPD and find out how many car/apartment break ins etc. they've had in the last six months. The management company promises so much and delivers squat. The pool is a joke with a broken drain and residual fiberglass from the partial remodel of the fitness center that stopped being worked on over five months ago. The fence has more holes in it for dealers & thieves than some sect 8 properties. New residents have moved in only to find plumbing problems, broken AC/Heaters, security lights that don't work etc. I talked to a new neighbor who said he went his first month with no heat. If you're a masochist then your home is here, if not run the other way.
