Apartment Review for The Estates At Lookout Canyon - San Antonio, TX

When I first moved in, I was on a 26 month lease and after 6 months, I really wish I hadn't done that. The staff changed repeatedly and I think they just get snottier and ruder with each one that walks through the door. Nobody can get anything straight. They had the audacity to put a lease violation on my door one time which I called them about immediately, and they stuttered around it and one of the snots said she would let the manager know. She was prying into business that she had no business prying into. Anyways, long story there but it wasn't a violation in any means but did the manager even bother to call and say sorry? No. It was because they made a huge ASSumption on something that they had no business. What happened to asking first? Not here. I also got in trouble for having an American flag on the balcony too! The inside of the apartments appear nice, until you look closely. The paint is all over the rugs, several of the lights actually came loose out of the ceiling and were hanging there. Oh and when you read "oversized garden tub" as what mine was described to us. The tub was more of the standard size, but you are paying for all these great amenities in your apartment. What a joke. They have done absolutely nothing about the speeding that goes on through the complex. I have seen children almost hit walking down the hill and even reported it and they did nothing. How about some speed bumps? Oh wait, don't do that, you will lose out on money then and some person coming in will have their rent jacked up because you have to pay for something for safety. There are also children who run around and like to shoot BB guns at cars parked outside and causing a whole lot of damage. If you have children, DO NOT let them write in the driveway with colored chalk. They will get on you for that. I had a neighbor whose children were drawing and then they get a letter on their door saying that it disrupts the appearance of the place. Seriously. I don't think this place is very military, children friendly at all!!! When my lease was getting ready to be done, they came to me with a proposal to stay there longer. Oh..the rent was going to go up another almost 100 bucks. Why? That is ludacris and they are just money hungry and try all sorts of different tactics. They are so bad that the staff doesn't even deserve one star!!! I could go on and on but I am sure the point has been gotten. The staff is rude, inconsiderate. The apartment is so so..definately not luxurious living, that is for sure. Stay far away and pass the word..especially to our military and families with children. When you can't fly the US flag, they are taking the very foundation and rights of this country. God Bless!
