Apartment Review for Villas Of Oak Creste - San Antonio, TX

I have lived at VOC for almost 2 1/2 years. I am currently looking for a new apartment primarily because I am ready for a change of scenery. VOC was built in the early 80s and does have older fixtures, etc. but the maintenance staff works hard to maintain the property and keep it looking good. The buildings and grounds are currently undergoing massive restoration to give the place a fresh new look. The property just went from being owned by Equity to Pinnacle. The former management team was great. They were friendly and professional (Knew my name, was very understanding when I was accidentally late with rent one month). I am not certain about the new staff yet because they have only been on the property for 1 week. A major advantage of this property is its location. It is right in the midst of the Medical Center area but is tucked out of sight and is peaceful to live in. My neighbors are friendly and it is crime free (I even live by a police officer). If you want affordable but not rundown housing in the Med Center I recommend this location.
