Apartment Review
DO NOT lease at what is now Limestone Oaks Apartme

Ok, so my roommate and I rented this apartment in May of this year, and unfortunately we were conned into signing a year long lease because of an unbeatable move in special. The apartment we were given had a front door that at first wouldn't close unless it was slammed shut and then after 2 months of complaining would open unless you put your whole weight into pushing open after turning the knob. I am very petite so trying to lock and unlock the door required all my strength in both arms in order to turn the key. The dishwasher which they said was brand new and never been used had water sitting in it for over 2 months before any maintenance person would even attempt to drain. Only after we threatened to call the property owners and get doctors notes on health conditions as a result did someone come to perform the 10 minute procedure of vaccuming the dirty water now littered with dead insects. We also got new neighbors upstairs and when installing their washer, busted a pipe. our dining room, kitchen, part of the living room and master bedroom/restroom had an inch of water before anyone came to shut off the water. The neighbors called in the emergency at 645, and the on call guy didnt get a phone call about it until 730 pm. We had to wait for 2 months to be moved into a new unit upstairs because of all the issues with our first unit. Things are a little better in the new one except for the toilet not flushing completely and the handle on the tub breaking. In both apartments the biggest issue has been the roaches! They are small, and I believe are reffered to as apartment roaches. Either way they are everywhere and no matter how many times pest control supposedly comes out, they never go away. Another big issue is the leasing office. The people there are disorganized and have no sense of communication skills what so ever. The constant response for everything is, "I called them to go out there; they haven't gone?" or, "Let me try to see what happened." And not only do they not talk to each other, they alson, in my opinion, so not care about their residents. When moving units, we were given a new apartment number so that we could start transferring our bils and whatnot, but then came in on moving day to find out that our new unit had been leased to someone else. They then told me they had another unit that was ready, and i could look at it. When I walked in there, the tile in the showers were craked and caving in, the lids on the toilet tanks were chiped. The cabinets wouldn't close the fridge felt as though it was going to fall over if you pulled on the door, and the closets were missing the rods. It took an extra 2 weeks for them to fix everything that had been wrong with that and as i stated earlier, we are going on a week waiting for our current service request. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. DO NOT RENT HERE!
